Smoking marijuana on the beach — complaints grow at Shore

Some towns along the Jersey Shore are getting growing complaints of marijuana being smoked on the beach ever since recreational marijuana became legal in the state. A ban on cigarette smoking on New Jersey beaches that went into effect four years ago was expanded to include marijuana and vaping. In Seaside Heights, Mayor Tony Vaz says about 30 to 40 summonses are issued on any given weekend.
