Growing herbs from seeds can be very rewarding, if you are up for a challenge.
First, fill the Soil Cup with potting soil.
For the fastest growth, mix in some Osmocote fertilizer or compost.
Fully hydrate the soil to ensure full germination.
Be sure to use feminized auto-flowering seeds for an easy success.
Plant only one seed in each Soil Cup about 1 inch deep.
Add mulch to minimize water loss during the hot summer.
Wet the mulch to pack it down.
Fill the 5-gallon bucket with water up to the drainage hole.
Our buckets are pre-drilled 1 inch above the handle for your convenience.
Place the Soil Cup on top of the water in the shade.
The Soil Cup will passively wick water up, reducing the watering to only a few times per month.
Eventually, roots will grow into the water, which will allow the plant to drink plenty of water.
