less than 1 yard of cherry red acrylic yarn
less than 1 yard gray or black acrylic yarn
less than 8 yards of beige acrylic yarn
Darning needle for sewing tail
Poly fil stuffing
Scissors

TECHNICAL NOTES:
How to change colors: Insert your hook into the next stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop. Grab your new color, yarn over with your new color, and pull through the last two loops.
Adding Catnip option: If you choose to add catnip, just take a pinch of your favorite brand of Catnip and insert first before stuffing your item with more Poly fil between every 5-6 rows. I do add quite a bit in the middle, but remember with Catnip, a little goes a long way.
Adding Poly Fil: You’ll want to continually be adding stuffing to this project as you’re crocheting so your joint takes the correct shape. You want this item to be firm in shape as well. When adding Poly fil, you’ll know if you’re stuffing the item too much if the stitches are stretching and revealing what’s inside. If this is the case, you can always remove and reshape your joint to your liking to prevent this from happening.
