Starting a Recreational Marijuana Business: CannaMan Farms

From the archives: It’s starting a small business venture in a wild-west emerging industry. In certain ways, it’s not much different than your typical start-up except this business is not legal under federal jurisdiction. And that means, although recreational marijuana is becoming legal in certain states including Washington State where this video was filmed, banks and insurance companies are hesitant to get involved.

That creates a host of unique challenges that require adaptation.

We talk with Brian Stroh, a former real estate broker and grower/processor Shane Wahl about what’s entailed in growing recreational marijuana and what their CannaMan Farms is hoping to accomplish.
