We explore the breeding process on cannabis in this video and document how I created feminized selfie seeds on this female I dubbed Poppy. This was a cross that I created in my 2023 strain hunt and I fortunately was able to reverse a female so I could make feminized pollen to produce selfie seeds which are seeds that are the closest form of clones.

This strain ended up being one of the best, but I was especially impressed by this “leaf bud” or piggy back mutation that allows buds to grow on leaves. Instead of letting it turn to buds, I pollinated it to make seeds, hoping that these seeds will unlock the key to a whole plant with buds on leaves. We shall see on the next hunt. I just hope to be a better mutant.
